James Dillehay has been self-publishing his and other authors’ books since 1991. His first book, Weaving Profits, hailed as “the blueprint for success in the crafts industry” by The Crafts Report came from his experiences selling his weaving and fiber arts. Because of the book’s great reviews, James began receiving offers to speak and teach.
As he wrote more books, his reputation as an expert in the craft business field grew. He wrote numerous articles for magazines like The Crafts Report, Family Circle, Better Homes & Gardens: Crafting for Profit, Sunshine Artist, Ceramics Monthly, Florida Retirement Lifestyles and many more publications. He was also a featured guest on HGTV.
In addition to teaching classes based on his books at The Learning Annex, Marketing Bootcamp for Artists, and the National Association of Independent Artists, James was hired by the University of Alaska to present a series of webinars to help small business owners sell more of their products. He has also co-authored three books in the best-selling Guerrilla Marketing series.
James lives next to a national forest in central New Mexico where his cabin is visited by rabbits, deer, foxes, and the occasional black bear. Contact James here.
