James Dillehay has been self-publishing his books, ebooks and other author’s books since 1991. He began his writing career after creating a business selling his fiber art. His book, Weaving Profits, earned praised as “the blueprint for success in the crafts industry” by The Crafts Report. From there, he grew his craft business titles into a collection that soon brought him national attention.
Since then, James has been interviewed in the Wall Street Journal, the Chicago Tribune, Bottom Line Personal, and many others. He’s appeared on HGTV and Entrepreneur Radio.
His numerous articles have reached readers of Family Circle, Working Mothers, The Crafts Report, Better Homes & Gardens, Sunshine Artist, Ceramics Monthly, Florida Retirement Lifestyles and many more publications in the crafts field. Because of his books, James served on the advisory boards to the National Craft Association and ArtisanStreet.com.
James is founder and editor of CraftMarketer.com and the social network for craft artists, Craftsu.com. Many of his books are now available as ebooks on Kindle, Nook and iTunes. In addition to teaching and speaking around the country, he writes and publishes from his writing cabin built next door to the Cibola National Forest in the mountains of New Mexico.
